The Nile

An interesting fact about the Nile is that it flows from south to north. The southern part of Egypt is called upper Egypt and northern part called lower Egypt. What was striking about the Nile was how green the land was surrounding the water and how in a mile on each side it quickly turned to desert. It is quite relaxing sipping a drink on a river boat and cruising.
